NOMINATE AN EXCEPTIONAL PUBLIC SERVANT
In honor of America’s 250 celebration, the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) in conjunction with Local Gov 250 are looking for nominations in a new program to identify and celebrate exceptional public servants from all levels of government, who make a significant impact in cities, counties, regional councils, states and the federal government.

According to a release, “We invite you to submit proposals for people currently working (or recently retired) in government who exemplify ‘democracy at the doorstep’ through dedication, innovation, and the highest sense of public service. Your submissions will help us shine the spotlight on the unsung heroes who are making positive changes across America.”
The deadline for submissions is coming up quickly: December 15th.
The requirements for those to be honored are straightforward:
Must be currently working as a government employee or recently retired within the last ten years.
